Compatibility

Android Smartphones

The heat it® for Android has a USB-C connection. In a few smartphones from e.g. OnePlus or OPPO the function "OTG" has to be enabled manually.

Note: The current heat it® for Android is not compatible with the iPhone 15. We are working on a new heat it® variant for the iPhone 15. Thank you for your patience!

The heat it® offered here is not suitable for Apple iPhones or iPads. Due to system-specific components, it is also not possible to use a "USB-C to Lightning adapter".

Apple iPhones

heat it® for iPhone has a Lightning connector and is compatible from the iPhone 6s up to the latest model (iPhone 14).

I've had an anxiety-inducing sensitivity to mosquitos for as long as I can remember, and they seem to target me much more than my peers or family. I've tried antihistamines, topical ointments, literally scratching the itchy spot until it bleeds... nothing is anywhere near as helpful as the Heat It. (You can do the same kind of thing by running a metal spoon under hot water, but this is so much more convenient!) I've literally lost count of how many I've bought. If I'm talking to someone new and the topic of mosquitos is even slightly hinted at, I will end up recommending this device. Thank you, heat it gods 🙌🙌🙌

Applying heat on a bite works to reduce itching and pain by interrupting the nerves transmission of stimuli.

As the itch signal is no longer transmitted properly the need to scratch disappears.

Does heat it® really work?

While everyone and every bite is different, heat it® is scientifically tested with proven results making it a safe and trustworthy device for insect bite relief.

If itchiness hasn't reduced after treatment, we recommend applying a second treatment after waiting a few minutes. Factors like how long between the bite appearing and the using heat it® can make the symptoms tougher to reduce and may need more than one treatment.

Does heat it® work on insect bites other than mosquito bites?

Yes! heat it® can work on many insect bites including marchflies, bees and wasps.

How long does it take for heat it® to work on an insect bite?

The treatment lasts between 4 and 10 seconds depending on the mode you choose. Depending on the severity of your bite you may need a second treatment after two minutes.

How much phone battery does heat it® consume?

When is the best time to treat a bite with heat it®?
